the ivy was cut and pulled off a brick and mortar wall. There are lots of tiny pieces (slithers) of dead ivy still hanging on. What is a proven way of removal - do you think a jet wash would remove? Thank you
The floor tiles seem to be wooden parquet squares (1ft sq containing 9 smaller squares). They were originally bonded down with a black tar like substance - onto the marley tile above concrete. The adhesive is still on the back of the wood. How should I bond back down a small area (2M square)...

I have to remove a rad with a trv. Can someone confirm how I ensure the valve is definately turned off so I do not flood when the rad is off (if the temp drops for example). Many thanks.
In answer to some Qs- the walls were sized - on matt emulsion. The paper did go pliable-probably cos it soaked up all the watery paste. Think i will try ready mixed. Thanks for all help.

This heavy paper was hung with solvite packet paste. The paper seemed to soak up alot of the paste after 15 mins soaking and was hung. In parts, the edges (2-3mm)seemed to curl up when on wall (I know they were pasted carefully!!). I think I had the paste mix slightly too weak and would probably...

When you strip paper, it often pulls off patches of emulsion - leaving emulsion thickness indents in walls. Do these need to be easifilled or re-emulsioned to bring level or can you paper over without them showing through on wallpaper. Thank you in advance for any help
