    What floor?

I think it’s the glue that’s failed with the water (assuming it was glued in the first place. Wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t) and the edges are lifting across 2 of the joints. how does it work with cutting it out? The wall to the right is stud and fastened to the floor. So can it just be...

    What floor?

Hi guys, Looking for a bit of help..... recently had a water leak which has wrecked the laminate flooring that was in my hallway. Taken it up and it’s drying out. I remember laying this and the floor wasn’t very level then. Only now the water is lifting the chipboard flooring at the edges...

    Overboard sort of

Hi guys, I have a small piece of wall, 2.3m high x 0.7m wide. It’s solid block with PB dot and dabbed to it. Between the block and the pb is some 10mm microbore pipes for the radiator. I had to cut some of the pb away at the bottom to relocate the radiator and in doing so used 15mm copper...

    Connecting soil pipe

Well the frame is in, would have preferred less joints in the pipe. But it is what it is I think. It’s all very tight and can’t really go anywhere. No iffy smells and seals all seem really tight. I know the angle that it comes out of the floor looks wrong like there is strain on the pipe but...

    Connecting soil pipe

Will do. I’ll get a picture once the frame is in properly. Might even sweep up first!! no idea who poly pipe is or if their stuff is any good. Only done this a couple of times before but was always told ‘use McAlpine”. it’s actually quite hard to adjust so am hoping that means it is a tight...

    Connecting soil pipe

Right guys. Thank you very much for your help and input. It’s very much appreciated. I think the poly pipe adjustable elbow I bought should do the job. Just need to shorten the elbow that came with the frame and I think I’m good. not a great picture but you get the idea

    Connecting soil pipe

Really don’t like what I’m about to say as it feels like a bodge it and scarper job. I kinda wanted it to be 100% right. Was probably a bit naive in just assuming Mcalpine had a product for everything!! but..... could I put the flexible extension in the link into the pipe on the floor. Then a...

    Connecting soil pipe

I can trim the black elbow on the frame. If I trim it down to the minimum it’s still only 90mm diameter so comes with an adaptor for 110mm. i only then have 160mm in total left to play with

    Connecting soil pipe

Didn’t consider that. Pipe being under the house would make that a problem then!

    Connecting soil pipe

I’m still not convinced tho. I’m very tight for space. just looked again and the pipe that comes out the floor is just a piece of Badly cut 110mm and I’m guessing the orange bit that it goes into is a socket and is just pushed in? Haven’t tried to pull It out but it moves with a bit of force...

    Connecting soil pipe

It should be linking to an adjustable one? 0-30 degrees?

    Connecting soil pipe

That’s what I keep coming back to. I’m just nervous as I can’t really fasten it to the frame so needs to be extended a bit. Then when I push the pan back I can’t really see what’s going on and how it ends up laying. I found this today so I’ve ordered one and I’ll see what it’s like tomorrow...

    Connecting soil pipe

thanks. I liked the look of those as it is about 100mm out. But I didn’t think my 110mm pipe would go in the end if it’s a pan connector?

    Connecting soil pipe

Is it possible to use a drain fitting in the floor then use a stack branch above that and cut the pipe on the frame so it comes out sideways into the branch?

    Connecting soil pipe

20 years old. The old toilet was straight out the back. It was the pan connector they had rammed in at an awkward angle to make the toilet centred. Which I assume is where the smells came from due to a poor seal. It never leaked but probably wouldn’t as the soil pipe goes straight down for about...

    Connecting soil pipe

The 90mm bend coming off the frame came with a 110 adaptor. There is no fins on this. It’s just 110 pipe I can move the frame a bit. But it’s about 100mm offset. I can’t move it too much as it’s the worlds smallest room so no width to move it. the last toilet had a 90 degree rigid connector...
