I did the test on the panel properly this time, (learning as i go along) and im getting 13v at bell - all the time, Does this mean the panel is at fault ? The sounder wires being disconnected in the bell box wouldnt affect this would it?

Hi, ive took a pic of the pcb under the clear cover, couldnt see anything with sab or scb. Did notice there is a bulb between the 2 led's, i take it that is a strobe so why did the installer not wire that up do you think ?

Yea great because I don't want it any louder than what if is now. So will I need extra wiring for the strobe or does the strobe just flash when the bell sounds ?

Screws on bell box are in the only tamper that's open is the spring on the panel, Set it off again typed code into keypad, pulled trg wire out but its still sounding.
