so why do they sell mdf surrounds in the shops?

im looking to get a gas inset suitable for my flue. It looks like i have a class 2 flue i think. Am i correct. I looked up fireplace and there is a 5 inch pipe/flue. This used to be used for a back boiler. thanks

Recently i plugged my lap top into a socket that usually has a ceiling light that has a fan. It cut the house out and i can not get the power back to that room, it cuts the whole house. I have tried changing the socket. Can you replace these mcb? Thanks

the old bat just said 590A on the side this one says 420CCA on the side, checked with supplier, they say its correct bat for car! what else can i do guess prob is else where?

Thanks, plumber has said that changing the main pcb is the only thing he can do now. Im not sure it is that, but what do i know. He only wants to change that because he does not know what else to do. How can i be sure its the board, i dont know if he is sure! Cheers
