Hi Bit more info........... The light appears to just flash at approx 1 sec intervals with no particular repeat pattern. I have located and tested the element and it reads 280 so I'm assuming the element is OK so it must be something else :(

Just whichever program is selected flashes and beeps in a regular pattern. It appears to start the progream and goes for about 15 mins and does an initial rinse and then stops

I think the heater on the diswasher is broken. can anyone give advice on how to replace it?
