This question is directed towards engineers with experience of these boilers.I have only ever been to one,fan failure.The reason for this query ,is that we have been offered maintenance contract on 72 of these units, all under five years old.Answers appreciated.

Sounds like knackered diverter valve.

Probably two faults.Boiling fault on hot water ,sticking domestic hot water flow switch.Increase of internal water pressure on c/h. demand,points to defective pressure vessel.Also the auto air valve, fitted top left of heat exchanger,prone to blockage.

From the symptoms you describe,the fault is with the diverter valve motor.This is an easy and inexpensive straight swop.Usually a myson motor,ensure replacement has the same identification number.Google search on :baxi parts arena : for part number.

Best advice to you,is have BG. carry out a fixed price repair,renewal of p.c.b . for £130 ,exceptional value.
