I have a fibre glass roof, i have just painted it silver with geotec roof paint. when i was up there i noticed a dip were water was collecting and not running off, can i buy something like a leveller that i can pour on the roof? would like to do this before i give it a second coat. Thanks

We keep getting phone calls of BG telling us to go over to homecare 400, £27pm. We are with them already and pay £19 pm for 3 star service. I feel as if we are being pressured, I am not sure the differences between the two services apart from homecare 400 covers electrics, drainage etc.. So...

Painted my front room recentley, 1 choc chip wall, 3 cream walls. Previously we painted our dining room, 4 x walls choc chip. We want to paint over three of the brown walls with cream, is it best to paint it white, then cream, or will 1 coat of cream cover the brown?

Couple of Qs 1.Is important to have good underlay? (to be layed on concrete) was looking at this (elite) http://www.tradepriced.co.uk/tredaire_carpet_underlay.html or is there better types? 2. Carpet will be for the living room and dining room, heavy use, we dont weant to spend alot TBH...

just bought a new light fitting for the ceiling. green yellow is the sleeve, covering a bare copper wire.

I have wires from the electric mains. red, black, green yellow. Light fitting is blue = neutral brown = live green yellow = earth I know green yellow go together but were do i put the red and black from the mains. Thanks for any help.

the experts will be here later probably. usually this is how it works scrape walls (do not sand) matt white watered down 30% (mist coat) (looks crap) sand down (not with rough sand paper) 2nd coat 3rd coat do not put silk on until the final coat, BTW most people finish off in matt...

We had the walls skimmed last thursday and friday in one room, I have had the windows open, rads in the evening for the last day or so. The plasterer had to bring the walls straight, so some parts are quite thick, I cant see any dark pink areas, everything is light, there seems to be some...

We are going to replace the carpet in the living room / dining room, it will be the same carpet as the room is one room (sort of) 2 adults and 2 kids, but usually 2 adults 4 kids as their friends come to play. we currently have a patterned carpet which shows up all the muck :D we are thinking...

Hi i have a flat roof on an extension, there are no leaks or anything but it looks pretty awful, plus there a little dips appearing. can anyone point me in the direction of what i could do. sorry about the pics, my camera i think is on its way out.

i have a freeview box in the attic room, ive hooked up to the arial on the roof, problem now is getting the cable into the attic room, easiest way i could see was to drill an hole through the window, the wood part at the bottom and thread through there. do you think it would be ok to do so?
