    I have a fibre glass roof, i have just painted it silver with geotec roof paint. when i was up there i noticed a dip were water was collecting and not running off, can i buy something like a leveller that i can pour on the roof? would like to do this before i give it a second coat. Thanks

    Painting over dark colours?

    Painted my front room recentley, 1 choc chip wall, 3 cream walls. Previously we painted our dining room, 4 x walls choc chip. We want to paint over three of the brown walls with cream, is it best to paint it white, then cream, or will 1 coat of cream cover the brown?

    just bought a new light fitting for the ceiling. green yellow is the sleeve, covering a bare copper wire.

    I have wires from the electric mains. red, black, green yellow. Light fitting is blue = neutral brown = live green yellow = earth I know green yellow go together but were do i put the red and black from the mains. Thanks for any help.

    the experts will be here later probably. usually this is how it works scrape walls (do not sand) matt white watered down 30% (mist coat) (looks crap) sand down (not with rough sand paper) 2nd coat 3rd coat do not put silk on until the final coat, BTW most people finish off in matt...

    velux window

    i have a freeview box in the attic room, ive hooked up to the arial on the roof, problem now is getting the cable into the attic room, easiest way i could see was to drill an hole through the window, the wood part at the bottom and thread through there. do you think it would be ok to do so?
