Do these ceiling fans wobble, the fixture is tight to the ceiling, it's going so fast it's wobbling (the body part). We have one of thses ceiling fans upstairs, its a few years old but im sure it doesn't wobble.

I have tried turning the light off on the pull cord and the fan comes on and starts spinning, when I put the light on there is a flash from were the bulb is and trips the circuits. Is it worth still disconnecting the brown wire?

When switching the lights on there is a sudden bang, we thought it was the bulb in the beginning but when we replaced it the bang! happened again. It's ethier the fitting (which is a ceiling fan) or the wires have come loose. I have attached a photo of the wiring if any good?

Hi all We don't use our main oven, only the gas hobs, so we are thinking of ditching the cooker, and placing an hob on top of one of the worksurfaces. It will be near a gas point. Do i just cut an hole in the top of the worksurface and fit the new hob? should there be clearances etc?

It plugs in, when I seperated it from the ballast, one piece was left in there, Im not planning to use the connector, Im going to cut the wires, and hopefully connect the wires into the new ballast.
