Had a Staffy and a dog ramp but the bugger wouldn't go up it. Ditched dog ramp and lifted her up, thank god she was a small one. Always had the appreciated talky stuff when she got in the car........bless. The rain was never a problem as she wouldn't go out without her coat on and woe betide...

All done, not got a clue what was wrong but took all electrical plugs off and reinstated checked all fuses, ok, and bobs your uncle. (y)

I have a Renault traffic CDI 100 2006 plate panel van. I cleaned the EGR valve and the MAF sensor has one of the sensor blades missing. Put all back together and now no start just turns over. I am at a loss, any help out there? Much appreciated.

really??? A bodge job with PTFE tape it will leak soon enough. Looking at the photo its a relatively easy job only if you can stop the water flowing. But not all jobs are trivial even if they look like it........that is a plumbing fact.

As with the symptoms in OP: ..... To test: first test hot water at a tap outlet if OK the boiler will be on full flame , then turn the tap to reduce the flow and the boiler flame should go down (modulating) before going off and staying off ie; with insufficient flow. If the shower does the same...

You need someone other than a plumber. If he just looked at it and came to this conclusion on what you have just posted then look elsewhere for advise. Always the first port of call is the heat source when a shower goes hot and cold and the other taps in the dwelling are working as they should.

I would look at your hot water supply before blaming the shower unit. How is the water heated?
