    that is contary to what most people say on this site people recommend tanking shower areahence why i bought the kit!! does the plastic sheeeting supplied in kit go onto floor over floorboards and then obviously tank walls and use sealing strip on joins?????????? thanks

    im about to fit a low profile stone resin quadrant tray direct onto floorboards.. flooorboard are solid no movement,,,, ive also brought some easybath tanking also couple questions whats best to bed shower tray down with ??? i fear sand cement mix would crack up over time how do i seal...

    Can i just say ..just found out .,answers above are wrong because at the end of the day there is a 40a rcbo at cu and 4mm feeding appliances from ccu .......... the breaker cannot be used in this situation ... 4mm cable on 40a cb 4mm cable clipped direct can only handle 37a

    ze is fine its just the zs calculated and zs measured that looked odd it is 32a type protected by rcd circuit

    it is ring circuit Ze 0.08 readings taken from socket outlet(easier) L-L 0.35 N-N 0.35 E - E 0.60 CROSS L-N 0.15 CROSS L-E 0.24 From this now the calculated value of zs = 0.32 is this correct yes ze +(r1+r2) just looked at my regs book again and it is within permissable max zs...

    Hate putting metal capping on to cover cables . I know we have to do it ..but banging fingers! nails jumping out .. capping pops off grrrrrrrrrrrr any easier ways????

    About to install low profile shower tray whats the best way to ensurethat this will be forever leak free? do i recess it into the wall slightly ? use some kind of sealant strip or plastic sheeting against wall or just sealant?? thanks

    remember the 4mm is only feeding appliances from ccu like i say no way would 6mm fit into hob nor oven terminals!! obviously why 4mm was used in first place as far as i can see...

    this is what i have electric cooker and hob 40a rcbo at consumer unit 6mm twin and earth feeding ccu (type with 13a socket on it) cable is about 5 metres long clipped direct to joists double oven says it rated at 20 amps hob 6kw oven and hob are both fed with individual 4mm cables...

    nope both electric thats why i want to daisy chain the feed cable to supply both appliances hob & oven
