    The firm i work for has fitted hundreds of these, we have had bother with a few (law of averages) but every time ive had to deal with tech dept they have been as good as gold and sort out 99% over the phone or arrange to fix no probs. You say its new but when they're tested theres water left...

    I always put the dcv on the cold side then you can pour the fernox into the fill hose and also use this as a quick drain if owt goes wrong :wink:

    Not sure what they're called but the plastic parts inside the drum (agitator bits ?) have snapped off, can they be bought as spares and whats they're proper name or do i have to get a new drum ? Cheers in advance.

    Or an anti-syphon trap. Also make sure that the soil is falling away from the bath trap as like you say soil could be mixing with trap seal causing the stink.

    What fluffster means is you can get a thermostatic mixer (keeps stable temperature) or just a mixer (you set temp by the flow), if any water is drawn from another source (tap, toilet etc). With the latter you could get either scalded or shrivel. :lol:

    Take your bath panel off and check if the leak is under the bath (tap connector maybe). Worth a shot.

    If its the water mains and the water wont stop, push a small amount of bread in either end, solder quickly then open cold taps to dispell the bread. :lol: Old comanche trick.
