    Must HE boilers have sealed systems?

    Or better still show your dad how easy it is to re-pressurise the system, (his installer should have already explained this by the way) and dont forget to disconnect the filling loop when your done.

    I really dont think this is quite what I expected....

    I know this may seem trivial (compared to all the other obvious mistakes) but the gaspipe outside should have been protected from the weather i.e. plastic coated tube or denzo tape. Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

    If its 22mm it needs lagging, use colour co-ordinated cable ties they wont come off.
