What's the best liquid epoxy available at a reasonable price?

Thank you very much for your reply. I heard something about syringes you can use to get the correct mixture and it makes using the stuff easier? My router technique is usually fine, I had problems with the size of the workpieces being used, clamping up securely and the templates being a bit...

What's the best liquid epoxy available at a reasonable price?

So if opting for the West system, which product do I get? I've seen https://www.amazon.co.uk/West-System-Pack-Epoxy-Hardener/dp/B00BAX1UI2 but is that the right one or is there a smaller/better version for what I want?

What's the best liquid epoxy available at a reasonable price?

Thanks for your reply. You may be able to see that I have already used a two part filler on this (the yellow areas). I swear by the Ronseal deep fill and have loads of it, but I just don't feel it's going to completely do the job in this instance.

What's the best liquid epoxy available at a reasonable price?

I guess you won't know unless I show you. There are voids, gaps and uneven spots that would be great for filling with something that dries hard and level and will get into all the gaps. I also want to use tape to reproduce the bits that have come away when the plunge router went near the edge...

17mm Outlet Hose Connector Very Loose

Thanks for your replies. I ended up with an extension kit from screwfix, cut and removed part of the rubber on the waste pipe attached to the washing machine and then used jubilee clips to hold it all together. It didn't leak and I am sure it will be fine.

What's the best liquid epoxy available at a reasonable price?

Hello there, I am after about 500ml of self levelling liquid epoxy to fill some voids uncovered in some plywood after using a plunge router. Can someone please recommend a specific brand/product that will harden well and evenly and can be sanded well and isn't stupidly expensive? If it isn't...

17mm Outlet Hose Connector Very Loose

Thanks. I also don't understand why the two ends of the hose I have bought aren't the same. https://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-drain-hose-2-5m-x-21mm/71062 I can't see how that could be used to extend the reach of the one already on the machine, even with and outlet hose connector...

17mm Outlet Hose Connector Very Loose

So I'm not sure how to connect the additional hose to the existing stuff. The spare bit above doesn't have a thread to screw this bit on to. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

17mm Outlet Hose Connector Very Loose

I had considered something along those lines but it really is very loose, to the point that it will distort and I don't imagine it would make a good seal.

17mm Outlet Hose Connector Very Loose

Hello everyone. The connector is very loose on the two hose ends. Should I be cutting the rubber off the hose?

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Thanks for your reply. If I remove the waste pipe, I will have space for the washing machine waste hose. Looking at these images, is there another place to connect the waste onto the existing pipework under the sink?

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Okay, so I'm stumped. How can I create a trap without the extra pipework going up? I really need it to stay low.

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Okay, so that's made life more difficult. Not sure what to do. Is a trap required even if the waste pipe is specifically for the washing machine, isn't connected to any other pipes, is way beyond being horizontally level and it comes out of the washing machine at a much greater height that the...

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Except the new pipe is not grey, so I'm not sure what it is. It works with compression fittings.

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

I think the grey pipe is actually solvent weld.

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Is there a push fit, compression fitting or solvent weld way to connect this type of fitting to the compression fit waste pipe? Is there a size difference in compression and push fit pipes? I think there might so the solution might be a little bit more complicated.

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

I probably should have included a photo of the area to show the sink, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There isn't any space left behind the dishwasher, the washing machine waste runs behind the dishwasher because the washing machine and tumble dryer are located behind a...

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Thanks for your replies. To the left is an integrated dishwasher and I had to reroute copper pipes for that as had the same problem. Dishwasher waste connects to the drains from the sink to the left of the dishwasher. As you can see, the large white pipes are the problem here and I'm not sure...

New Freestanding 10.5kg LG Washing Machine

Hello there, I've just replaced a 6kg Beko washing machine with an LG 10.5kg washing machine and the new machine is much deeper. Can anyone please tell me what I can do to gain a bit more space and get the machine further back under the worktop/inside the space? It's sticking out about 6.5cm...
