What about products like this Foil insulation roll http://www.wickes.co.uk/FOIL-INSULATION/Thermal-Insulation-Foil-Roll/invt/210022 These are thin and would fit into the space a lot easier. But are they effective?

Insulation suggestions for a pitched roof?

It sounds a nightmare. However while I cannot afford it yet the roof needs replacing. It's the original slate tiles and beams from the 20's and they're in their last years now. I might be able to get the roofing fitters to sort the insulation at the same time.

Is this suitable for drilling a hole for a tumbledryer pipe?

Hi all I'm upgrading the kitchen tumbledryer and want to fit a vented tumbledryer. The tube will be going through the wall to the back garden. Normally I'd pay someone to do it for me, but it's not hard and I figure I can do it myself easy enough with the right tools. The only question...

Hi all I'm new here and looking to pick someones brains over my boiler. I have a Worcester 28i RSF boiler which currently only has a mechanical timer on the front. I gave Worcester a call and they told me I could fit a programmable thermostat onto it instead and suggested Honeywell...
