i have just bought 2 fancy light fixtures 12 in square that need to sit flush with ceiling, the ceiling slopes down a bit on one side am i right in thinking an electrician can move the fitting over so they sit flush with out any bother.
I papered over wallpaper along the fire place wall one half looks amazing the other half has bubbles in it think the paper underneath has come away if there anything I can do to make it go down I dont want to redo it really
moulding sounds good i did ask if there was such as thing i could cover them with he didn't know apart from that it would be sanding down .. thanks by the way(y)
this is pretty much what it looks like all the way up uneven and many coats of paint, everthing is going to be new so this will look rubbish, suppose i will have to make the most of it(n)
i think the stair stringer is what my dad was trying to explain to me, so i take it he is right then, so i have to live with shabby stair skirting, :( thanks for replies(y)
don't want this to sound like a stupid question, getting my hall plastered and told my dad to ask the plaster to wait till i have replace the shabby skirting board, my dad said you can't do that they are connected to the stairs! i was lead to believe i could just take them off and get them...

thanks, (y) am leaning toward no now, no kids and dog to big to get up stairs but if you have to watch your step, i mean that can't be a good thing:confused:
laminate stairs ? good or bad idea, i have read a few comments online some say they can be quite dangerous, slippy, even though they look good, any advice would be good before i go ahead..
hi it not vinyl paper, so it would be ok but best going back to bare wall, ok, i was trying to cut corners really, stripping walls worse job in the world ! anyway thanks for your help much obliged (y)
