Well it turns out there is a worldwide shortage of pitch pine! I have managed to track down and order a 33 inch wide 1930 style LPD Door that I will get deconstructed so I can make it back into a 4 panel door… this door will go on my boiler cupboard and the proper 4 panel door will get swapped...

If it’s like a top oil than has sunk it rather than sitting on top like a varnish you should be able to blend it in?

I would use the block of wood and sandpaper, at the back so not so noticeable to start with ? I made this oak table for my daughter and had to do a bit of sanding where the breadboard ends met!

I would give the off cut a sand to see how you go. Do you have a sander? If you did it on the worktop the only issue you would have is that you don’t want to sand across the grain of the lower piece of worktop. Not sure if it would work but could protect the good side with masking tape?

Do you have a left over piece of worktop so you can see the thickness of the wood veneer on the top? The link says it has a 3mm veneer so you might be ok to sand a little off?

The bathroom sanitaryware needs to be ordered and the plumber is on holiday so we can’t check with him! Do we order a horizontal outlet for the replacement of the below? The waste has been boxed in by the previous owner but we know that the waste goes horizontally and then drops down vertically...

After googling and measuring and not finding any real information on the pillar drill I contacted the seller and asked if I could return it. They accepted, the drill has been returned and I have my £20 back :) Thanks all for your help

Thanks, I have been trawling eBay and a lot of them are Oak :( I have been contacting the sellers of recently sold ones to see if the sale went through! I am even thinking of getting the 1930 design pitch pine doors and seeing if it can be upcycled into a 4 panel!

I looked at the model number for the belt part number and that drill dp103 only has 2 pulley things? It it normal to have 2 pulleys or 3?

I contacted the Ryobi spare parts supplier and they advised that they can no longer get parts for the machine :( It has 3 pulleys, so I measured the front set and it’s 10 MM wide and 540mm long and the back set is 10mm and 470mm long. So I need a z 540 belt and a z470 belt? I will see what...
