    subfloor for carpet.

    Had a carpet and quality u/lay put down. Floorboards are showing through not level. Carpet guy says fit 4mm ply but the actual fitters say use 6mm. Also are ring nails ok. Any advice would be great. BOB

    MIXER SHOWER PROBLEMS

    I fitted a mixer shower using the Cold water tank and teed off the hot water tank. Despite there being a head betwwen the cold tank and the shower head the flow is rubbish. it does get a lot better when the mixed it turned to cold. Any ideas.

    Ok thanks fo that. As the pump fitted with a plug I assumed this was ok. The cabling is coming out of the attic so can I just fit a FCU in the attic and fixed wirning to a pump in next to the cylinder. Presumably the pump will need earth bonding.
