Just removed an old pull switch light and capped off the 3 wires. Will tape together with electrical tape. Is this ok? Thanks.

Got it off thanks. Pin goes in a bit when i put pressure on with hammer so seems ok? But no heat. If you can advise. Cheers.

Ive unscrewed the plastic as much as i can. Dont seem to be any other screws to turn. Does anyone know how this comes off? If i pull it off and break it am i going to flood the bathroom or will it just remain on until I get a replacement? Thanks
