Remove ADT Honeywell Le Sucre Siren & Sensor for plaster

Oh ok thank for letting me know, it seems that a callout to the engineer is the only choice or trying to plaster around it. :(

Remove ADT Honeywell Le Sucre Siren & Sensor for plaster

Ok thanks for that so even moving them despite being wireless will cause a tamper? How does the system know a sensor or siren has been moved?

Remove ADT Honeywell Le Sucre Siren & Sensor for plaster

Hi can anyone shed some light on this for me please? My sister has some building work going on where they will be plastering the downstairs hallway. In there is fitted a Siren and motion sensor, as well as the control panel. The document she showed me says it's an ADT Honeywell Le Sucre...

    Anyone recognise this shower mixer?

Hi many thanks for that, just done a quick google on that name and the same picture came up. I just can't find a decent site now to get spares from as the Globe suite doesn't appear anywhere on the parts lists. I do know the mixer is at least 10 years old now.

    Anyone recognise this shower mixer?

Hi can anyone tell me what brand this thermostatic shower mixer is? There are no markings on it. The shower head is TREVI but I can't be totally sure that the mixer is the same brand. I have a problem with the on-off control in that it won't turn off anymore. I had to isolate the hot water...

    Cleaning central heating system?

Thanks for the input guys, I am trying to avoid the powerflush route due to cost but do understand that it would be the best solution to shifting stubborn debris. When the Vaillant engineer came round he showed my black iron oxide deposits inside the pressure sensor and also how the pump...

    Cleaning central heating system?

Right, I've just had a new pressure sensor and pump fitted on a Vailant Ecotec combi boiler today. Luckily it was done under warranty but the engineer showed me (black iron oxide deposits) that the whole system needed cleaning and a Magna Clean fitted. Bearing in mind this is the 2nd time...

uPVC Front door not locking properly

Ok thanks I will check the hinges first. If those are already tight how can I get this problem solved? When I last looked I didn't see any kind of adjustment screw you get on some hinges to lower or raise the door.

uPVC Front door not locking properly

Hi I have a uPVC exterior door which is locked by turning the handle up and then turning the key. Recently the key has been sticking and won't lock the mechanism without a struggle. The handle turns up smoothly and isn't tight but the key action is causing the problem. If I repeat the process...

    Gas Oven Ignition problem

Thanks guys. Job for the weekend me thinks when I can turn off the gas supply. One question though - my gas supply is in an outdoor cupboard where the meter is. Will this affect my gas boiler in anyway when it's turned off? I'm thinking all I need to do is re-ignite the boiler when the...

    Gas Oven Ignition problem

Hi thanks so how will I know if there is enough slack to pull the oven outwards to release the gas supply? This is the oven I have and also what I found behind the interior cover once removed....

    Gas Oven Ignition problem

Hi I have tried to clean the element after removing the back panel from inside the oven which was concealing the ignition device. However, this hasn't resolved the problem and I think I need a replacement ignition device which I couldn't remove in-situ. I have worked out how to pull the oven...

    Gas Oven Ignition problem

Hi can anyone help me with a problem I have with a Baumatic B609SS gas oven? Basically the ignition spark has stopped working. When I push the oven temperature dial inwards to activate the gas supply it won't ignite the gas. I can hear a VERY faint ticking (should be loud) but it's not enough...

    More damp problems!

Have also had this problem sorted at the same time as the kitchen damp. The roof was damaged in one corner allowing water to collect above the ceiling and cause the damp shown. It's been repaired and I was advised to have something fitted along the parapet to channel the water away from the...

    Damp help please?

Finally got this sorted at more expense! :( The flat roof felt above was cracked in several places with water collecting above the window, hence the damp. It's all been refelted now but there are no stones on top. Is it worth brushing on a layer of stones to protect from heat damage?

    Damp help please?

I thought about the window and gutter too but the roof extends past the wall by at least 12-18 inches so there is an overhang. I would have thought it impossible for any water to make its way into the the window from the front. It is fitted flush with the wall but due to the overhang I ruled...
