    Which taps to repressurise boiler?

So, hot and cold? Thanks, I'll give it a go. There is a slight leak from the shower tray in to the kitchen ceiling, but I am presuming from an exit, rather than off a hot water pipe. We'll see.

    Which taps to repressurise boiler?

My boiler has dropped below 1 bar, and the pilot light is going out when it hits a certain temperature. I know I can repressurise the boiler. But I don't know which taps to use. Please can you help? Here is a photo of all six of my Ariston ecombi boiler taps. The hot and cold are even...

    Soundproofing noisy joists

Thanks, but I meant... By laying on chicken wire *between* the joists, how will that dampen sound travel? Shouldn't it somehow be wrapped *around* the joists? I can see why *between* would help temperature insulation, but how sound?

How to fill gaps between skirting and floorboard?

Thanks Ken, Yes, my rear landing skirting, at the wall shared with the neighbouring terraced property, shows some vertical space between sskirting and floorboard. See photo. Also, some gaps have emerged in the floorboards at that part. Both have increased in size in the nearly two years since...

Bay window condensation/damp problem - solution?

What's wrong with it, bobby? I don't know. What are you concerned about? The concrete immediately in front of the bay cambers away toward the rest of the front. The photo makes it look as if the surface is wet. It's not really; there has been no rain. That said, I do seem some green. And...

Bay window condensation/damp problem - solution?

Summer 2014, I had old flaking paint removed from all the white parts of the bay, repainted in an effort to seal. Windows were sealed in (although the sealant has degraded a little), and you see clear sealant at base of wall at floor. The window you see is the main one that cops the rain and...
