Replacing sink washer without draining system

Thanks for that - unfortunately there are no valves anywhere to be seen that shut off the hot water - only one that shuts the cold supply. Homer

Replacing sink washer without draining system

My hot water tap in the sink has gone from a reasonable flow to very much reduced over the last month. All other taps in the house are fine. Today the tap turns - but no water at all. I've a 'normal' heating sytem - not a combi. My neighbour has said not to bother draining down the system -...

    Extractor fan specs?

Thanks Felix, the room is 8x8x12ft - so your measurements are nearly exact  Now to get off to B&Q for a cheapo fan. I'd thought about doing the job myself - could manage the wiring with a bit of help - but cutting the hole neatly would be awkward as I don't have one of those...

Weekend pay makes GP rich as footballer

Aye, Money for nothing!! I know a GP who rakes in that 2K extra a week. Works Mon-Fri from 9-6 then thinks, why bother going home a couple of nights a week to the wife and kids - better off doing a couple of stints at the local out-of-hours until midnight. Even better on a Friday night -...
