    11 degree pitch roof tiled.

It's been up a month and no leaks at all it's bone dry inside and I opened the velux windows this morning and no collection of rain water whatsoever. It's been passed off as well. South facing and very sheltered.

    Extending kitchen over outside drain

Yes the existing gulley does branch onto the sewer and is plastic. House built in 1992. The kitchen waste connection on the island will be about 1.5m into the house from where it is now. There is plenty of room for the fall.

    Extending kitchen over outside drain

Planning permission has been granted and I'm using a private building inspector. I just need to know how to connect into the gulley from the island that will be near it . As in pictures . Worried about smells from drain you see.

Thank you. So I won't need a looped system or anything like that or one of those valves? I'm not planning on moving within the next 30 years anyway

    Extending kitchen over outside drain

So that gulley on the photo will be inside the house under the concrete floor and it needs to be attached to the sink on the island without creating bad smells. It runs into the soil pipe from my neighbours house.
