    Combi problem

Hi lads, Well, I've bled the secondary heat exchanger with c/h on, and it seemed quite a bit of air came out. However, I haven't followed wergas's additional instructions. Weargas, when you say "adjust pressure with it all shut down", do you mean back at the expansion vessel after I've...

    Combi problem

Hi there, I have a problem with my Vokera 20 - 80 RS Flowmatic. It was losing pressure over a period of time. After checking all the rads, I traced the leak to a faulty c/h flow/return valve. I replaced it, and a suspect leaky PRV. I have also repressurised the expansion vessel to 0.7bar...

    Dual Flush Cistern keeps filling

there are a few methods for fixing the pushbutton. I've seen a version where you pull out the two buttons revealing a screw which you undo to allow the removal of the outer ring from the lid. In the other more common version the outer ring unscrews, however I have had them glued in!! Good luck.

    Flow/return valves serviceable?

Thanks Softus. Yes, it has a large double lugged red lever that looks as if it's held on with a hex bolt. I suppose it's a new one then. You know, I've only been plumbing for about 3 years, but I can count on one hand the number of stopcocks/isolation valves that actually do what...

    Flow/return valves serviceable?

Hi have a Vokera 20 80 RS fllowmatic that is leaking underneath from the large central heating flow/return valve. Leak seems to be coming from the open/close lever. My question is, are these valves serviceable. If so, is it a washer, or tightening a gland...? Thanks for your help. Gary

    Halogen downlighter cable

Hi there, I was installing a triple pack of halogen downlighters. I drilled the holes in the ceiling, fitted the light fittings into holes and climbed into the loft to feed the wire thru the fitting to take the bulb. My problem occurs at this point. The length of wire supplied in the pack isn't...

    32mm sink waste

Thanks softus. Where the 40mm comes up thru the floor, it has been cut off flush with the level of the floor. Then they have slid the 32mm from the sink into the 40mm without any seal/connection. Tried sealing it off with some plumbers mate, but water still finding its way out. So I need a...

    32mm sink waste

Hi there, does anyone know if I can get a male 40mm to 32mm female end abs connector for a bathroom sink waste pipe. 32mm Waste from sink currently sits inside a 40mm waste that is flush with a tiled floor, but is leaking, so I'm unable to get enough on it for a multifit connector or an abs...
