I have an old boiler and a single pipe system so have decided to replace it! Which is the best type of boiler - Combination or condensing, ignoring the running cost or efficiency differences. Which is the best, most reliable, quietest? There is just the two of us and we live in a 3 bedroom...

Thanks Breesey, I did not know I had until my old boiler cracked with a loud explosion. The gas board engineers told me when the replaced the boiler. Another plumber told me also. Henry.

Would you replace the valves at both ends or leave well enough alone? They are probably over 30 years old. Henry.
