Circuit boards are all the same!!! You just change the link position to suit each boiler. M3080 has the ignition connection on the front. Read the leaflet enclosed within the circuit board box and fit links accordingly. :roll:

Suggest you get your hubbies contact back pronto!!!! The circuit board has been set up for the Isar (combi) and it is telling you it cannot read any resistance from the domestic hot water thermister. (Cos u don't have one) :shock:

Beermat, You need to replace the thermister harness. It has blue and red wires, one goes to the heat exchanger pocket(top right and also to the fan). It comes as one complete harness. The boiler is basically a classic chassis and heat exchanger, the pcb is not a 25 board. It was designed...

Sorry to state the obvious, but.......................... You have no water in the system, so the boiler will not work. Not much you can do until the rads are fitted and system is filled.

If the boiler has dry fired I would be almost certain that the seal has perished on the left side. It probably wont be noticeable until the boiler is hot. Our guys take approx 2hrs to replace the heat exchanger. Ideals charge a fixed price including parts (excludes heat exchanger)...
