To me it looks like the felt is damaged and the pieces fell on loft floor. It become softer than paper and easily faliing on flooe. Actually I moved to new house and accessing internet on my BB. I can't upload pics.

Hi , In my home loft there are black chunks of size upto 15 cm. hanging with roof. Some are fallen on the loft floor. Can some pls tell me what are these ? Is these are harmful and take any extra care to remove these ? Thanks in advance. Regards
