    I hope you havn`t payed him ! Get him back to sort that mess out, designer radiator with a 10mm plastic flow and a 15mm copper return would look terrible ! it should still work but i cant understand why he should think thats acceptable.

    Hot and cold drain offs = just drains off valves to drain off your hot and cold water supplies to your taps. Aslong as they are heating circuits and the valves and be removes and the new pipes attached to the existing pipes you`ll be fine.

    If you can remove the drain off valves and connect new pipework to the existing pipework then yes, you dont need to know which is flow and return aslong as you use Bi-directional TRV which most are.

    The bit i am talking about that needs sealing is not on the outside of the enclosure, it is in the channel that first fixes to the wall, inside that U-Shaped channel at the bottom where it meets the shower tray. then the screen slides into this channel, i will try and find a picture.

    Worcester 28cdi boiler

    Yes the pipe that runs through the wall outside then turns back down the wall. do you have one of them attached to a radiator ? If not just place a cup under a bleed valve and keep empying untill your back to the correct pressure.
