    fire regs

Not sure if there are any regulations as such but in the past it was known for insurance companies to ask for cages fitted to the rear of the letterplate to AVOID risk of fire through arson attacks  A bit extreme i know but if you're prone to arson attacks( :? ) then you could always...

    Chalet Roof replaced with EPDM.

It does look a decent job,a great improvement on what it was....some minor things that i spotted probably explains the fact that they were losing money hence a few cutting of corners :? I dont think you can ever expect a roof to be 100% sealed but enough to keep the elements out but not enough...

    Chalet Roof replaced with EPDM.

What do you think of the job? If it keeps the elements out and you're happy with it then thats what counts. Ive never worked with epdm before but im sure they could have made it a LOT tidier. Its easy to pick fault with other peoples work but i'll refrain from listing what i think could have...

    Tracker On Work Van

Not a truer word spoken woody......the main people to complain when we were told we were getting trackers fitted were the same ones that i refered to in my last reply. I dont want it to seem as though im complaining because the top and bottom of it is that i think it will be better for the...

    Tracker On Work Van

Id heard the lead theory but was told that the new trackers are not affected by the lead. Personally im not too bothered about it being on the van but then if i start getting questioned regularly about why i was here and why i was there etc etc then my opinion might change somewhat!! I not...

can u screw into wood filler?

Ive not used these plates before but by what i can understand the screws should just bite into the metal creating its own thread therefore not needing a nut.

    Tracker On Work Van

The points you made were the ones im (not so) worried about.... I think that because its just a new thing to the company and affecting about 25 vans we're going to be watched/scrutinised more in the early weeks.....time will tell. As for the "why were you cruising the red light area?" im not...

    Tracker On Work Van

i've just had a tracker fitted on my van  ,Whilst i can understand some of the reasons behind this i.e cheaper insurance, keeping an eye on where you are etc i was wondering if anybody else here has a tracker fitted by an employer to their van and if there are any 'things' i need to be...
