thankyou joe-90 and splinter . Found a box of 2'' eights closest to recommended and used countersunk drill bit ( good tip) . I will try every other joist and ends of boards if i need to do this again ( every joist is very very secure :wink: ).

Will try some new sat cable cat100 ? and renew aerial too. Not sure how water got into cable but all happened in about 4hours :!: Connector was corroded so its happened before/ongoing will replace everything upto tv or will i need a new tv soon too ? :cry: TIA
