    oh no, ive seen so many no nos in this thread. first fix a thermal tile backer board, like wedi/marmox or Delta. 10mm thick. lay ufh heating mats, but dont tile directly ontop of mats.......its not best practice......lay a self levelling compound over matting, you can buy one now thats ready...

    grout protector spays are fine, always try and recommend them tbf, however, you need to combine this with a PH neutral cleaner (not bleach) as bleach would just strip the sealer. another option would be to go over the grout with Universeal Grout Rescue Colour & Seal

    we used to sell a delta board in 2400x600x12.5mm however, this was only sold in our trade counter as shipping of this board would reuqire 2 pallets (ie too expensive) the 12.5mm delta board is now available in 900x1200 so it easier to transport.

    Hi @coling1988 you could look at fixing a tile backer board to the solid wood floor? thickness vary, you can get 6, 10, 12.5 and 20mm Delta Boards. these are 600x1200 in size. you will have to be wary of the different substrates meeting however, this will require an expansion strip

    @pody make sure you lay a self levelleing screed over the UFH........its best practice, everything else you have done prep wise is spot on IMHO. Level then you can put your baton down as you wish.
