    Infantile humour

My favourite TV ad was about 2 years ago during the winter. It was for Veno's cough and cold remedy. Camera focussed on this chaps head whilst he was coughing. The first spoken words were "For coughs, Choose Veno's" :P Made me chuckle every time it came on. Had to explain it to my wife...

    Lining paper bubbling

The cause of this can be because you may not have given the paper enough time to soak up the wallpaper paste before hanging it. I had a similar problem and then read some posts here. Next lot, I let the paper soak for about 15 minutes, no more bubbles after painting. The bubbles in my...

    Roof timber, white powder?

thanks Big all / chappers There is no space at all between the bricks and the felt not even an inch :!: I might remove the top course of bricks and fit the soffit vents you mention from underneath / outside. Do you know who sells them ? I know the Sheds sell the rectangular type but not...

    Roof timber, white powder?

    disintegrating loft insulation

Thanks breezer. I guess I'll have to decide whether it's of no use or some use ! I think I'll guage this by judging by the amount I'd have to clear out and how messy it will be !!! andy

    disintegrating loft insulation

Hi everybody I've read the threads on loft insulation but couldn't find an answer to my question. I've just bought a house and found the loft insulation to be very old and disintegrated. I'm going to put new insulation in but is it essential for me to remove all the old stuff prior to...
