Concealed cistern unit has no access panel

I had mentioned that, but we have 2 other matching units and they will not take those back. Although its meant to be oak, we cant seem to find other unit that matches the same shade. Interestingly they still have not advised me on how it is meant to be fitted without dismantling it.

Concealed cistern unit has no access panel

Thanks Rob. Essentially I am left with two options. Buy new bathroom furniture that's designed better which will roughly cost me £500 as I have gone over the return date - not to mention they charge £50 return fee and then take an extra 20% off the value for restocking. Or the option which I'm...

Concealed cistern unit has no access panel

Update. After speaking with VP, they advised me its not faulty and they have never had anyone complain about this unit in the past. So in short they are just selling poor design cabinets. Thanks for everyone's help but it seems the solution is to dismantle and rebuild around the toilet after...

Concealed cistern unit has no access panel

Managed to take the top off, so essentially I could dismantle the whole thing and rebuild it around the toilet in place. Just seems a really stupid way of doing things. Took some photos yesterday

Concealed cistern unit has no access panel

Completely agree, its a stupid design. When ordering I just assumed one of the panels were removable. I have contacted VP and apparently their technical support team will get back to me tomorrow. Andy, none of the panels lift off at present. Its built like ikea furniture, with those twist and...

Concealed cistern unit has no access panel

I have come to install my new toilet and found the vanity unit that the cistern is housed in has no removable panels like normal... at all. Not even the top. The unit come assemble and I cant figure out how to install this. The link is what I have including the pan...

Check and isolation valves for shower

Hi Dave After googling RTMI and getting Return To Mysterious Island which I assume is not what you meant... what does R.T.M.I. mean?

Check and isolation valves for shower

Thanks. I read the on-line specifications for the shower and it does not mention anything about non return valves so I suspect I will have to fit them. Although I will double check on the actual specifications in the shower box.

Check and isolation valves for shower

I'm fitting a thermostatic shower. Cold fed from the mains, hot fed from a combi boiler. From initial research, I believe I may need to fit a check valve, possibly a double check valve. Can anyone advise which one? Also I'm trying to find a full bore check and isolation valve all in one...

SMD, LED, High Power LED - Advice needed

So to sum up.... Assuming my fittings only take a standard bulb I'm looking at around a 5w max. To get the best coverage angle I need SMD. They need to be CE marked and I should expect to pay in the region of £12 (hopefully less for purchasing 20) And as pure cool white or warm white...

SMD, LED, High Power LED - Advice needed

I done a fair bit of research on the difference between them and the pros and cons. But couldn't find much about high power LEDs

SMD, LED, High Power LED - Advice needed

Its a long story but we had 6 initially installed then decided to have more installed due to dark spots. It is slight overkill but there were dark areas we needed lightening and if we just had those areas done it would have looked strange. We probably only needed 4 extra but to keep things...

SMD, LED, High Power LED - Advice needed

Thanks very much. Any idea why some have fins around the bulb and some do not. I assume the are for venting or heat distribution but not 100% sure. The more expensive bulbs seem to have them but wondering if they are a gimmick as these bulbs do not get that hot.
