    Yea i know that thermostats safety has improved greatly, but how many households have unsuspecting faulty therostats fitted from years gone by. All im saying is with hot water discharge on to roof seems to me to be an added safety measure and a far better option than into cws tank if at possible.

    I,d use flexible tap connectors,remove the copper tails and fit directly to threaded tap tail and a compression joint on other end of flexi connector or a push fit speedfit,but don,t forget about inserts when connecting to plastic pipe. :)

    adding rad to loft conversion

    Need some info on adding a rad in loft conversion. It is an oil fired open vent pumped system in a two story house. Would i need to raise f & e tank, need a more powerful pump to circulate water higher any info would be appreciated. :? :?
