    i love wago connectors i use hundreds of them admittants mostly din rail mounted which type where u using? the ones with the level operated clamps will grip very small conductors- i often use them on 0.1mm signal cables strip connectors are so horrible to use after wagos!

    y do i use an angle grinder? simple, its the fastest and most simple method, with a good level of hand skill and being used to using the tool its easy to get a square and accurate cut, i love my dewalt battery grinder and the 1mm thick cutting discs for the job, i would not use a hacksaw its too...

    battery angle grinder for small swa is my favourite battery recip swa for bigger swa is cool to cores i often cut 25mm with average sized side cutters, ratchet croppers are nice too. electro hydraulic croppers are sweet 8)

    hacksaw, stanley knife and break all the armours off in one go, done it hundreds of times. if its a bigger swa 70mm or so i use a angle grinder to "mark" the armour. stripping the outer and snipping the armour off with side cutters sounds slow and i would consider it poor workmanship...

    Van ply lining

    i've done several vans, i glue (pink grip) and screw it in. if you just screw it in it squeaks! better quality board lasts better. i also paint it which makes it look better and is easier to clean.

    16mm should be ok to install but trim any sharp edges of brick etc to make your life a little easier. 300 or 400mm is a little more challenging :wink:
