been reading on the b & q website that otheres have had problems with these taps! why did i buy them! :( i read that someone installed some bigger washers - are there bigger washers you can put in to a standard basin tap?

update b/g has now changed there mind and advise that i have the following fitted that get some good reviews spiromagnabooster do you think they will drain the system first. is this a better suggestions that having them combin the vent and feed??

all seems bone dry now after almost 2 weeks only thing that is puzzelling is i have a tiny little lump that has appeared around it, (not leaking) top of the compression fitting, were the green stain was??? like a little bubble that has blown up, anyone know what this is. ?? ive checked and...

it was used on a drain valve on a rad. are rad valves made out of alu or brass?

its only minor, but ive kept tissue on it and checked countless times and cant find any seeping.. must be corrosion?? reaction to the paint, ive painted other bits and havent had any problems. very odd.

fitted a new compression fitting at the weekend, that was weeping, all sorted but as it bites in to the pipe (alu) not copper) brass olive on the compression fitting - i painted this up with some water based rad paint, all ok but its left a green residue around were it bites in to the pipe...

I put the stop end (compression) on the drain plug that has the faint red arrow, as all the other fittings was sorted with a bit of a tighten up. thanks
