I must have its the same diameter as a 22mm piece of pipe but ever so slightly smaller then a 22mm standard t that I have.

yes still on with the bathroom although to be fair have done about 2 days on it so far. I have brought a reducing end feed t that I presumed worked like a normal tee in terms of over the pipe then solder on but the 22mm part of the tee won't go over a 22mm piece of copper??

to be fair if it wasn't for kids it would be done by now and am definately taking my time!

its the rubber ones so will have to see. its taken best part of half a day (around the kids) getting the old waste and stack out. Still haven't got pan connector or some soil stack out. Its looks literally like a rectangular hole the pipes have been shoved through and then mounds of cement...

yep got a 32 and 40 adapter although not sure how its suppose to firmly stay in the boss look far too wobbly but will figure it out!

am fitting single taps so shouldn't be a problem. I just thought all pipes to bath were 22mm even if the cold mains was on a reducer. Just means another trip to the merchants. 8 months of carerful planning and still finding things that I need

I've taken the bath panel off to see whats what before taking the bath out on Thursday. I assumed/thought that bath taps had 3/4 inch thread and so the pipework to it would be 22mm. However the hot tap is 22mm and the cold tap is 15mm. Can you buy and 3/4 inch to 15mm straight tap connector?

I wondered why there was a pipe that seemed to connect the 2. Am sure I'll be back next week when I get onto fitting the bathroom!

well I've learnt something new I didn't think anything to do with the heating side affected the hot water with it being a boiler with a cylinder - now I've refilled it everything is ok.. I thought it was just combis that did that!

thanks for that reset the boiler but nothing. Have refilled the system now and it fires up and stays going for 30 secs then nothing. I thought you could drain the system without affecting the hot water on a normal non combi boiler

boiler is an icos HE one. Display is showing a c with a flashing light but not igniting.

Well started my soon to be regretted bathroom rip out yesterday. Starting with taking off rad to paint walls and then replace with towel rail. Wasn't going to drain down system yet but as both valve decided to weep like a swine when I turned them off I had no choice. Drained off from new...

don't know what to do now. Did think about putting a service valve on then cutting the olive and that off but there just isn't room between the airing cupboard and the bath panel to put a pipe joiner on :roll:
