What made you choose Heatmiser?

Unfortunately being outside of the room the built in air sensor is unusable. Do you know if the remote air sensor is the same device as an additional floor sensor? I can't find anywhere to purchase a warmup air sensor.

I used one of these timed relays. If you want a single switch, use one of these (available in different colours). Note that the switch can be surface mounted - no need for a back box.

I've just dug out the paperwork (installation manual) that I received when the PCB was changed, and it is indeed part number 5111603. Lloyd

New PCB cured my occasional lockouts and random (very loud) knocking (I'd personally describe it more like a small explosion!). It was a completely different PCB module, not just a like for like replacement.

Thanks. But the first thing it normally does is open the water valve, so why would the motor brushes affect it?

I have a Hotpoint WT960 that sometimes fails to start. Close the door, select the program, hit start, the door locks and then it just sits there. I have to cancel, and then try again. Is the door switch a likely candidate for the fault?

Are these the 120 degree beam ones that are currently being advertised? For what is usually a spot, seems a very large beam angle. I guess this is why the surface of the lamp is not flat.

In this context, for switching things on/off using remote switches - eg lights that you don't want on a dimmer, a motor etc. I use them for switching the led and CFL lights in my bathroom, and a timer relay for the mirror demisters (stops them being left on)
