    Hey my central heating is losing pressure. Am I right in saying that if I turn off the flow and return valves on the boiler. This will enable me to determine if the pressure loss is on the boiler ( if it contuines to drop). Or pipework if it hold pressure.

    Ok thanks for for your advice, Just checking the splash gaurd that comes with the mira sprint shower. Does that just stop in the place it is. I am just asking as it seems pretty pointless and not protecting much.

    ok I just wonderd as I removed my old electric shower that was working ok just dated. Tested the electrics it light up when touched the live but not when I touched the neutral

    Am I right in thinking that when testing wires with an electric testing screw driver. Its only the live wire that will make the end of the screw driver light up?

    Hey I have some floor boards to take up in my bathroom, I no to cut down the boards over the centre of the joist so I can put the boards back down easly. So do I jus cut the boards to one side of the nails?

    its not a nob on a flex. Its a dual fuel electric oven and gas hob it tells you in the instructions to do it with a flex and cooker chain etc.

    wouldn't it need to be a elbow so the hose wil screw in and hang down so it wil push back to the wall better?

    I have a cooker with a male thread on the back. I need to convert this to a female thread to except the cooker hose. Is the best way of doing this to use a female to female elbow (malable iron). Or do they sell purpose made adaptors for this. Thanks
