    Kitchen Lighting How Many LED's

I think you are missing the point. Maybe more lumens but not necessarily in the right place. Personally I like down lighters as mood lights but not as task light.

Being self employed n trying not to give generously to the taxman

But if you look at the HMRC self employment check the lad needs to ask himself those questions- can he substitute labour, does he set his own times, does he supply his own tools etc, does he work unsupervised , us he at risk of making a loss ? I can guess, that none of these apply to someone...

    Ground Loop

I presume you mean a DI or isolating transformer. If so, maybe it's gain structure and you are amplifying the inherent noise floor from the laptop? Another good way of getting audio out of a laptop into an amplifier is using a USB audio interface as on board audio out of laptops can be anything...

    Immersion heater died?

please ignore the advice about the neon screwdriver, they can give false results. For about £10 you can get a two pole multimeter which will give far more reliable results and can be used on a dead circuit for continuity testing as well as measuring voltage on a live circuit. Go to the...

What cable to use to first fix electric gate connection?

There is no mention as it will be dependant of what gates you get. Just install ducting so cables can be installed later when you have the gate company in.
