    SCAM

Yes, I had a similar experience, three withdrawals from my business account which I hadn't agreed to in any way. Apparently they use your card details if you've purchased from them before, which I obviously had. A few choice words by e-mail to them and the payments were refunded back into my...

What was your most costly mistake ?

Trying to lift a 2 metre x 600 double rad onto its brackets, getting injured, costing me a fortune in lost earnings while I sit at home waiting for it to heal, slow process

Fav and worst Xmas song or Carol

One of my favourites is also the Pogues with Kirsty Mcholl but if we're talking carols I love Oh Holy Night sung by Nat King Cole or Mariah Carey. Worst has got to be that bloody Mr Blobby thing, can't remember what it's called now but it's annoying.

    Baxi Bermuda Back Boiler Replacement

A system installed whereby you keep a hot water cylinder will definitely be a good choice if that's what you prefer but you will definitely need a new flue to go with the new boiler and re-using your existing flue and liner is out of the question. You may also need to update controls and valves...

    Work Injury

Thats wise, unfortunately I work on my own so there isn't always someone to give me a lift with the extreme things but after this I am going to admit defeat and wait until another pair of hands are available, my main problem will be deciding where to draw the line in the future because when...

    Work Injury

This ones a bit too big and heavy to do that with, 2 metre 600 double, you would risk more injury by trying to get that to the right height on blocks, and anything much smaller than that I wouldn't have a problem with, but whatever way works for you is good. :)

    Work Injury

Lets just say I'm a leftie and I'ts my left arm I've damaged, challenging to say the least  , but I don't give up easy, just the family give me a wide berth when they sense me getting a bit crabby :)

    Work Injury

Yes it is pretty painful, the cause was trying to lift a radiator from the floor onto its brackets that is way to heavy for a one man lift in all honesty, but it is something I have done over the years but this time my bicep gave up before my determination, needless to say I wont do it again...

    Work Injury

Howdy folks, I got an injury at work earlier this week, snapped the distal bicep tendon in my left arm, I've had an op and got it in a cast, just wondering if anyone here has had a similar injury so I can compare, apparently it's quite a rare injury according to the doctors and surgeon,with...

A quote for my mate SOFTUS!

I have read the thread and nobody told him how to post letters, you read the thread. So you dont agree that cheapest isn't always the best then? I was talking about getting a cheap job done not using a cheap supplier and you know that, what do you expect us to do then, stand the cost of the...

A quote for my mate SOFTUS!

You obviously know that cheapest definiitely isn't always the best although I don't think you will have even considered that fact.... How very kind of you to give the guy an extra £50.00, whats the betting that the job will not be 'spot on' when it's been given your most thorough inspection ...

    32 to 20mm adapter

If you get a 35mm to 22mm reducer in copper, the 35mm end will fit nicely into a 32mm compression waste fitting.

    Baxi Bermuda 552

It may be that the vent in your floor is not to current regs so needs upgrading, can't comment on the floor vent not knowing the constuction of your house.
