    HOW MUCH??????????????

Most scart leads only use the composite video signal, whereas most DVD players can utilize the RGB (Red, Green & Blue) signals. Think of it as a purer signal. Now these require more individual connections, so hence more work (not a £100 worth tho!!!). The trouble with them is, they are never...

    Fixing dent in kitchen worktop

I agree, kick up a big fuss, then throw into the equation that you will accept a satisfactory repair AND compensation. At the end of the day It's gonna cost him lots of work top and time, he'd be better off coming to some ammicable agreement than having to replace the lot at his own expense...

    Condensation on the Cistern

Would it help replacing the exposed section of copper pipe to plastic pipe? As this would partially insulate the cold water from the air? I suppose (if you were doing any major work in the future) run the supply pipe next to a central heating pipe to allow the water to be warmed?

No ones mentioned it, but before starting anything - make sure that you also have the service engineer code. I seem to remember that if you are messing about with the tamper circuit, the panel has to be reset using this code rather than just the user code. This twas about 8 years ago... So may...
