I happend to be watching when a new member signed on, i thought by his name, must be an American with an appliance problem, just checked again and yes you guessed it.

I can not understand why they persist on posting when this is a U.K.based forum and the first post in appliances says that we can not help with american appliances

perhaps if the poster reads this he could enlighten us?

Well I apologize, I know that I should go by what I have been told, but I cannot remember the occasion.

If the profile carried a brief, optional, description of ones true home area, I might comply. On the other hand, when I talk of places like MFI and Focus, it narrows it down a bit.

It just goes to prove what a gap this forum fills, and it's appeal is global.
