Thanks, yes I read about the built in frost protection, I assume they put in an additional frost stat as there is pipework coming out of the top of the boiler then through the wall into the house, the garage is built on the side of the house. That section of pipework is insulated though and...

Thanks for reply, I have tried that and other washed and its seems to have really ate into the rendering. Is there anything that could be painted on the glass fibre to stop it reacting and dripping down walls causing the algae as the other rendered walls of the house are fine. Thanks
