    had oil changes at the correct times I am using the oil supplied by vauxhall that is the low viscosity long life oil. The expensive one!!

    Can anyone tell me if a Corsa 'C' 1.3 CDTI has a timing belt or a chain as I have a rattle on start up which goes after a second or two. The reason I am asking is that the rattle reminds me of an old hydraulic timing chain tensioner.

    a bit drastic but if it's the only way, you could grind the heads off and once the pressure plate is out of the way the studs remaining will come out with a stud remover, ONLY DO THIS AS A LAST RESORT.

    Thanks Breezer I tried that method, but the difference is that your previous post was using xp on a different disc what I am trying is to partition the disc that the operating system is on, so I think that partition magic is the only way to go. Although I would appreciate any other ideas

    Wheel bearing trouble

    I had the same problem What I did was use a dremel to cut a groove on opposite sides of the remains of the bearing and broke it off with a cold chisel. This worked but be careful when cutting the groove. Hope this helps let us know how you get on

    think they're pine, I am not sure what they were painted with before but it isflaking off in big flakes it looks like eggshell paint, if there is such a thing
