    Should i still sleve it even if its the new hormonised colours ? how come the 4 core isnt harmonised same as the twin and earth ? So far as the seperate ring for the drier, I only have 2 spare RCD in my consumer unit. 1 Was going to be used for lighting and the other for the socket ring....

    Come on guys, Some one must be able to confirm the requirement regarding height of sockets... Is it definatly 450mm heigh to the underside of the socket ? Mine in the house are 300 and the ones i have done in the new bit are also 300mm Cheers Mick

    Cheers... i just measured the ones in the house and did the same.. think the bottom of the box is 12" 300mm ... That NO GOOD then :( Glad i checked what about ones higher up. We intend to fit a work top in the utility room... Again i meassured ones in kitchen did those at 46"
