Yes I'm confused. It's a bit of a nightmare. there are cables of all sorts of sizes and colours all over... cotton and lead coverd as well but hoping they are disconnected. Just trying to take it one ring / loop at a time without going into the unit.

Thanks for getting back to me "scoby" The Blue wire (to pendant) is connected at the block to an incoming black wire. So Black (cable from previous light) to Blue on pendant(as is) Brown (from switch) to Brown at pendant Red (cable from previous light) to loop (as is) Blue (from switch)...
