my bahco's will be ok for gripping once I bend back the metal.. although i think for long term I'll get an offset spanner as the potterton guy mentioned, may save a little time.. Done a few of these already but was fortunate to get to the wax capsule and freed the grub screws on these but...

could be pumping over. check your pump speed, could also be a blockage but check pump speed first and turn down if required..

guys went back to the boiler today, its a kingfisher 100 rs. as usual no fault on arrival but tenant advised no lights came on etc just no heating on demand. did notice that tat when I turned the temp control down the boiler would attempt to start then keep clicking on/off like the relay...

Whats the common faults with these boilers ?? was at a callout today and tenant has to keep resetting, as usual wouldnt do it when I was there and he didnt know what lights were flashing etc ?? just wonder the usual faults ! :roll:

system may also be corroded, if you need to keep bleeding rads its cause there no inhibiter in the system, wont cure the problem to add it but will help a lot and limit corrosion, had this problem in my last house, I flushed the system added sludge remover, drained 2 weeks later then added...

yup sounds very much like a blocked dropped feed..

sounds to me like its sludged up !!!
