Guys, had 3 of these this week with rads constantly heating due to sticking diverter valve bodies, all 3 were with wilo head (plastic cartridge) has anyone tried just cleaning these and lubing ?? really cant see why they stick so easy and never actually tried just lubing and cleaning but...

seriously mate i'd rather throw it in the river than punt to chancers on ebay ! that gas valve cost a fortune at the time, we ended up ripping out every lynx electronic and replacing as they were too costly to fix ! they damn things eat pcbs !

not wrong there mate but if I had the diagphram to change it would only have been the once, plus its for a mate so £30 for a kit compared to £130 for a DV, think i know what he would want !! thanks for your advise again guys !

the diagphram change looks quite easy, remove pump, 4 screws and in, seems a lot easier than a full DV ?? unless the kit assy is a pain it looks quite straight forward !

the 24i's got a built in bypass ! had problems before with Trv's truned down and boiler kettling as bypass is not very good for c/h but never on DHW demand only.

sounds like a valve problem, if the boiler is firing without demand then this is most likely, very common for the valve body to stick and both the electrical and mechanical parts can be effected , then again could be as simple as his immersor is left on at his tank if he has 1 !!!

had this once before where the wax capsule is sticking and possibly not seating right inside the valve, full valve replacement is a pain so best to try the capsule first and make sure it seats correctly when fitting. most common problem with these are no heat as the valve sticks in H/W...

Guys, got a passing divertor valve on a 80SP VOKERA. Had this problem with a linea and got the service kit, pretty basic repair. got the kit for the EXCELL / ECLIPSE and just wondering as it comes with the diaphrams etc, do I just replace the divertor section and how easy is it to do so...

yes strange that how the combi 80 is basically a puma80e minus the WPS and temp control knobs !! the WPS being left out was strange !!
