I've been hearing a lot about green roofs lately. How do they work? What is the life expectancy? How expensive are they when compared to more conventional roofing systems? Do they require maintenance?

I would like to hear people's responses on this topic as well. I have an old felt roof and I am currently considering replacement options.

Right, i contacted two futher electricians, both said that in order to tell me all my sockets are switched over to economy 7 They will need to inspect the property and take a look at the meter. What would they be looking for?

I have a computer, a phone, a monitor, printer, an oil-free heater etc... Everything you find in a working office. I will contact another electrician today.

I contacted an electrician to do the work, told him that my supplier claims that my entire supplu is switched to economy 7 at night but he insisted that my economy 7 will not switch all the power points to the e7 rate at night, only the dedicated circuits ( heaters/immersion) Now i dont know...

Could i insulate between the joist and on top of the top deck when i replace the roof felt? How much can i expect to pay to insulate a 12" square roof?

I have the room to insulate the floor at the cieling is quite high, but it would be quite a hassle because the skirting board has been gluded to the walls.

Is it possibbile to buy a socket with in inbuilt timer? Or a spur with inbuilt timer?

The floor is concrete covered with vinyl. The door is wood, but a good tight fit. I do find the room nice and cool when entering in the summer. The room takes around 1 and a half to two hours to heat up but as i said before, cools down within an hour. I wish i could get my hands on one of those...

Yes, heaters are all currently switched off. My meter does indeed show low and normal readings.
