    it looks like the house is one brick thick so rebuilding is not an option , I would repoint and seal and sell !!!

    yep they are a right pain in the arse they fall through the scaffold easily as well, not sure what happened to plastic ties havnt used them for 20yrs now :D

    I would use normal mortar with waterproofer in the mix for the patio and cut a drip in the overhanging slabs , as said by the others I would think tha :D ts whats causing the bricks to blow. an airbrick wouldn't go a miss either

    the frost has had it , basically the top 10 to 20 mm of mortar has perished , never had a wall blow 2 years after I built it though and the larger brick wall we done is sound

    I built a stone wall for a contractor 3 years ago which has blown , this winter just gone , I built the wall in the summer, so do I repoint for free or say sorry mate cant help you, the contactor no longer trades.

    if you measure the bricks in your photo the overall thickness of the wall is about 250 to 300 mm, your house is only 220 mm so its a solid wall no cavity :D
